When you use EmperorPDF, we temporarily process your uploaded PDF document to perform the translation. We also collect your IP address and the filename for operational logging purposes.
We do NOT send your entire PDF file to any third party. Only the extracted text content is sent to OpenAI's API for translation. Your document's layout and formatting are processed entirely on our server. We do not read, share, or sell your documents.
Uploaded and translated documents are stored on our servers for up to 48 hours for quality assurance and troubleshooting, after which they are permanently deleted.
We use OpenAI's API to perform translations. Only extracted text is sent to OpenAI for processing — not the full document. Please refer to OpenAI's Privacy Policy for more information.
All connections are encrypted via HTTPS/SSL. Files are stored securely and access is restricted to authorized personnel only.
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data.
